Zentry Security Strengthens Executive Leadership Team to Accelerate Company Momentum

Secure remote access cybersecurity firm adds industry veterans Andy Oehler and Bert Rankin to key positions

Milpitas, Calif. November 18, 2020Zentry Security, an emerging cybersecurity company offering secure remote access solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), has added two key members to its leadership team: Andy Oehler as vice president, product management, and Bert Rankin, as vice president, marketing. The company recently launched its groundbreaking solutions for the Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) market, and it has expanded its executive bench with two industry veterans steeped in security and remote access expertise. Both will report to Zentry Security president and CEO, Michael Zhao.

Oehler is responsible for expanding and managing the development of Zentry Security’s comprehensive solutions that secure access to business-critical applications and network resources for a remote workforce. He has more than 20 years of experience in the IT security industry.

Prior to joining Zentry Security, Oehler held product roles at McAfee, Skyhigh Networks, and F5 Networks. Most recently, he served as senior director of product management at Appsian. Oehler holds a bachelor of science, electrical engineering and computer science, degree, and a master’s of science degree from the University of California at Berkeley.

Rankin is responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s go-to-market strategy, including product marketing, demand generation and corporate communications. During his career, Rankin spearheaded revenue growth and brand recognition at Lastline (acquired by VMware), Threatmetrix (acquired by the Relx Group), and Callidus Software (IPO filing). He holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Harvard University.
