GLOSSARY TERM

Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)

Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) is a cybersecurity product or service that enforces the zero trust mantra, “never trust, always verify”. ZTNA products create a border around applications and resources using policy-based identity and context logic to determine whether a user should be granted access.

ZTNA solutions streamline the user experience, hiding applications and services that users don’t need access to and protecting against lateral movement across a network. ZTNA also streamlines the IT or security admin’s workload by applying intelligent policies to users and automating how their end users are authorized and granted access.
