Inside Account Executive

Zentry Security (www.zentrysecurity.com), a pioneer in zero trust secure remote access, is seeking a bright, motivated and effective Inside Account Executive to join our sales organization. Focused on Zentry’s next-generation secure access solution, Zentry Trusted Access, the Inside Account Executive will evangelize a new approach to secure access for SMEs that need simple, cost-effective, and comprehensive solutions that allow remote employees, contractors, and partners to securely access mission-critical applications and network resources.

The Inside AE will be responsible for driving inside sales through the identification, acquisition and management of strategic accounts in the company’s target market of enterprises with 500-5000 employees. In addition, the AE will be required to develop and execute sales plans to achieve quarterly objectives and provide accurate and timely reports and forecasts. This is a full-time permanent position and may either be remote or at the company’s headquarters in Milpitas, California.

Job Description:

  • Develop sales strategies that offer complete and targeted solutions to the customer and facilitate meeting or exceeding sales quotas and profitability goals
  • Implement a regional account sales plan that encompasses both strategic direct sales and channel partner engagement
  • Identify and qualify prospective customers and penetrate net new strategic accounts
  • Develop a team selling approach, collaborating with pre-sales technical specialists and the customer satisfaction organization
  • Implement and collaborate on sales and marketing tactics and programs in order to meet or exceed sales quotas and profitability goals
  • Ensure efficient and timely communication with customers and channel partners relative to promotions, new products and services, and other marketing and sales activities
  • Maintain sufficient pipeline of active accounts in order to consistently meet or exceed quota
  • Meet with channel partners, participate in joint prospect and customer sales calls and assist with Zentry channel partner activities


  • 5+ years in cybersecurity with demonstrated ability to sell across all levels of the customer’s organization including the executive level
  • Proven successful track record selling cybersecurity solutions
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, networking, and identity and access management technologies as well as a complete understanding of the sales process
  • Motivated self-starter with strong team working, prospecting, qualifying, closing and managing skills; must also enjoy a high-energy, high expectations, results-oriented environment
  • Startup company experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical customer audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree
