A New Era in Secure Remote Access

Improved Workforce Productivity, Enhanced Enterprise Security with Less Effort and more OMMM

Let’s face it – cyber threats don’t discriminate. They threaten everyone and every type of organization, from big governments (anyone heard about the SolarWinds supply-chain attack?) to individuals and every type of business in between. This isn’t a new challenge, but it’s certainly been exacerbated by a global pandemic that has forced most people out of the workplace and into the home office (or bedroom, dining room, living room…), often without sufficient security measures in place to protect them and their employer.

A recent Ponemon report[1] focused on SMEs found that

  • “Only 45 percent of respondents say their organizations’ IT security budget is adequate for managing and mitigating cybersecurity risks caused by remote working”
  • “Only 39 percent of respondents say their organization has the expertise to manage and mitigate cybersecurity risks caused by remote working”

Any organization can be the next target of a cyber-attack.  However, small to medium-sized enterprises (SME) are especially vulnerable since they often lack the resources, both in people and budgets, to adequately protect themselves from cyber risks.

Working from Home

IT and security professionals in mid-sized organizations (if they are lucky enough to have a dedicated security resource) struggle when it comes to protecting customer and employee records, financial data, IP, and all their business-critical information now that the workforce, consultant, and partner ecosystems are remote. There are more devices accessing more information remotely than ever before, and—according to the Ponemon report—attacks such as credential theft and phishing are opportunistically on the rise as less security-conscious employees work from home without the proper secure access controls.

If you’re an IT or security professional trying to protect an SME, how do you keep from freaking out over the daunting task of securing your organization in a time that places a premium on working from home?

OMMM…

Zentry Security to the rescue. We’re a newcomer to the secure remote access market, but our team has many years of collective experience in both remote access and security. Most importantly, we are here to serve the needs of the SMEs who need simple, cost-effective, and comprehensive solutions that allow their remote employees, contractors, and partners to securely access mission-critical applications and network resources.

We recently emerged from stealth mode and are looking to shake things up. In the days and months ahead, you’ll be hearing more from us as we officially introduce the company to the market. We’ll be talking and writing about our market space – Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) – and bringing to life all of the ways in which our IT and security users can benefit from our easy-to-use, cost-effective, and all-inclusive solutions.

Remote Access

As an adjective, “Zen” can mean “peaceful and calm”, and this is what Zentry Security aims to provide its SME customers: a stress-free solution to securing the remote workforce. As we go through this journey together, I think that you will be amazed by what we are going to offer: the unthinkable combination of secure remote access with all the protections of enterprise-class access and security solutions, but without the enterprise price tag.

Take a deep breath, chant “om” and watch this space.
